Hawan Jung


Hawan Jung was born in Korea but got his drive for perfection and passion to mix different culinary traditions in the best restaurants of the world.

His career path was initially lit by Michelin stars. He did a traineeship in the legendary Eleven Madison Park restaurant (New York, 3 Michelin Stars, #4 The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018), Coi and Atelier Crenn restaurants (San Francisco, both with 2 Michelin stars), Mina restaurant in Bilbao (1 Michelin star), he also worked in the cult Spanish restaurant Mugaritz (#3 The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018).

Over the last few years he has been running the kitchen and creating the menu in La Vie restaurant (Osnabrück, Germany) under the guidance of the Master Chef Thomas Bühner.
